The Growling Rabbit is a neighborhood café committed to creating healthy comfort food using seasonal and when possible local ingredients. Located in Chicago’s Rogers Park neighborhood, the restaurant provides a dining experience for all.  From our chorizo omelet using house-made chorizo to our vegan lentil sloppy joes, The Rabbit offers patrons to experience the season’s bounty in a unique way.

Hours are:

Tue to Fri 8 am - 8 pm

Sat and Sun 8 am - 6 pm

"The Growling Rabbit is a quirky, cool cafe on the intersection of Lunt and Sheridan here in Rogers Park. Generally speaking, their breakfast dishes are most excellent; and my boyfriend and I are totally committed to our typical cafe au lait/cinnamon roll brunches. The atmosphere is laid back and clean; the employees are attentive, and the music isn't exceptionally loud.
