Come one, come all to the Chicago Reader’s third annual chef-to-chef challenge, the Key Ingredient Cook Off at Lacuna Artist Loft! Inspired by our bi-weekly Key Ingredient series, vote on creations from some of Chicago’s finest chefs, including Sarah Rinkavage of Lula Cafe, Chris Teixeira of Homestead on the Roof, Zoe Schor of Ada Street, Pauley Haney and Diane Rosen of Hoosier Mama Pie Company, Rob Levitt of The Butcher & Larder, Abra Berens of Local Foods, Sandra Holl of Floriole, Tim Davidson of Troquet River North, Chris De La Cueva of The Ogden, John Asbaty of White Oak Tavern & Inn, Nicole Pederson of Found, Chris Gawronski of Acanto, Shaun King of The Dawson, Harold Jurado of Yusho, Matt Troost of Three Aces, Sean Sanders of Browntrout, Jason Gilmore of Cobra Lounge, Eric Michael of The Southern, Rodolfo Cuadros of Carnivale, Joseph Rose of The Terrace Conrad Chicago, Elissa Narow of Perennial Virant, and Andres Padilla of Topolobampo

From 6:30pm to 7:30pm guests will enjoy tastings from celebrity Chef Dave Beran, Executive Chef at Next, craft beer from All Rise Brewing, specialty cocktails from Jack Daniels Single Barrel and Gentleman Jack and wine from Sonoma Cutrer. After the VIP hour guests will enjoy samples from all 22 restaurants, libations, music from Windy City Soul Club and more!


General Admission Tickets: $65


From 7:30pm-11:30pm: Guests will enjoy tastings from all 22 restaurants, specialty cocktails, wine and beer, a specialty dish from Whole Foods, photo booth, music and more!
